threadbare & squirrel is a thoughtfully curated boutique where we stock items from clothes to bags to baubles to shoes to whatever we feel looks nice & love to get our hands on.

A little street off the beaten track. Away from the characterless malls and throngs of aimless wanderers. Here gleaming steel and towering concrete give way to conservation shophouses and a vibrant indie culture.

Welcome to Bali Lane where there isn't a chain store in sight and where threadbare & squirrel calls home. Nestled among laid back cafes and other little independent boutiques, we could not have hoped for a better place to setup shop. 

A wholly different crowd dwell here. If you dare to dress yourself, then perhaps you might find something that tickles your fancy among our selection of clothes, bags and baubles hand picked to be stocked in the store by the owner herself.

Designers, artists, independent thinkers and aspiring fashionistas stroll down the lane in search of something to add to their lives so come visit us and see if we may have that little something to brighten up your day.

Why "threadbare & squirrel"?

Many people ask us why threadbare & squirrel? Well “threadbare” because we hope you love the clothes you buy from us so much that they’ll get threadbare before you’d be willing to part with them.

“squirrel” because we like to find the beautiful and offbeat, the wonderful and curious, and find a way of bringing these objects to you.
