This series is inspired by incense, which has been burned for 5,000 years: to pay homage to ancestors, purify the air, symbolize the rise of prayer, worship ancient gods, induce meditation, be used in rituals, and uplift the spirit. The inspiration for this series comes from the many functions of incense and its power to evoke time and space. The grayish-black color of the packaging and bottles evokes the image of incense smoke. One of the incense scents, "AVIGNON," evokes the scent of old, smoky churches and well-worn wooden pillows, experienced during a sacred journey to the historic center of southern France. The fragrance, "ORIENTAL," features chamomile, vanilla, and patchouli, evoking spirituality and ritual.
