アメリカのレザーブランド「Schott（ショット）」とのコラボレーションによる新作は、eYe JUNYA WATANABE MANオリジナルの形をベースに素材にショットのレザーを使用して仕立てた一枚。ショットならでは厚みがありながらもやわらかなレザーの質感と綺麗になめされたレザーの光沢感が特徴です。カーコートの様なウエストが隠れるくらいの長さの着丈と襟元の風の侵入を防ぐチンストラップの仕様にライダースジャケットの様な背中のプ動きやすさを出すためのプリーツのデザイン、更にコーチジャケットの様にフロントがスナップボタン仕様となっているなど、様々なアウターの良い部分がMIXされたデザイン。さらに裏地にはキュプラの生地がはられており着やすさも兼ね備えています。ガンガン着込んでならではの経年変化を楽しんでもらいたい一枚です。 This new piece, a collaboration with American leather brand Schott, is based on an original eYe JUNYA WATANABE MAN design and crafted using Schott leather. It features Schott's signature thick yet soft leather texture and the sheen of beautifully tanned leather. The design combines the best elements of various outerwear styles, including a car coat-like length that covers the waist, a chin strap to keep wind out of the collar, a rider's jacket-like pleated back for greater mobility, and a coach jacket-like snap button front.
