eYe JUNYA WATANABE MANとデニムブランド「New Manual（ニューマニュアル）」との初コラボレーションとなるアイテムが登場。1936年以前のモデルとなるヴィンテージのデニムジャケットをベースは、ゆったりとした身頃と少し短めの着丈のバランスのドロップした大き目の肩のデザイン、少し太目のアームホールなどヴィンテージならではの少し無骨なシルエットをベースとしながらも現代風に着用出来るシルエットへとアップデートが加えられています。さらにフロントボタンや袖口のボタンには小釦と言われる小さめのボタンが使用されていたり、丸みのある歪んだ形状のフラップポケットや従来よりも小さめの襟のデザインなどヴィンテージのデニムジャケットに見られたディテールが採用されたこだわりのデザインも特徴です。またバックにはヴィンテージデニムジャケットの大きなサイズにのみ見られた特徴の一つである” T-BACK ”のディテールを採用。袖のハチノスの色落ちやクラッシュ、ステッチによるリペア加工など長年着用して来たような本格的な色落ちを再現したヴィンテージ加工も魅力となった、まさにヴィンテージデニムを熟知した「New Manual」とのコラボレーションだからこそ出来るスペシャルな一着です。 The first collaboration item between eYe JUNYA WATANABE MAN and denim brand "New Manual" is a denim jacket based on a model made before 1936. The silhouette is unique to vintage items, such as a straight body with no tapering, large dropped shoulders, and loose sleeves, and the details are also unique to vintage items, such as small buttons on the front and cuffs, rounded and distorted flap pockets, and a small collar. The back also features "T-BACK" details, which are one of the features only seen in large sizes of vintage denim jackets. The vintage processing, such as the fading of the honeycomb on the sleeves, distressing, and stitch repair processing, which reproduces the authentic fading of the product after years of wear, makes this a special item that can only be made through a collaboration with "New Manual", which is well versed in vintage denim.
