eYe JUNYA WATANABE MAN ×New Balance とのコラボレーションモデル『Rainir（レーニア）』が登場。 1982 年に開発されましたオリジナルモデルはマウント・レーニア・クライミングスクールの学生ガイドが、従来型の重いハイキングブーツの代わりに、ランニングシューズを履くようになった後、クライミングやハイキングに特化したパフォーマンスを提供する軽量なフットウェアの選択肢として設計されたハイキングブーツ×スニーカーをMIXさせた様なデザインによるモデルです。eYe JUNYA MANにおいてはプレミアムなヌバックとコーデュラナイロンによるアッパー構造と、洗練されたベージュのカラーウェイ、ヒールに型押しされたeYeロゴが特徴となったコレボレーションモデルとなっています。Collaboration model "Rainir" with eYe JUNYA WATANABE MAN × New Balance is now available. Developed in 1982, the original model was designed for climbing and hiking-specific performance after student guides at Mount Rainier Climbing School began wearing running shoes in place of traditional heavy hiking boots.
