今シーズンのJUNYA WATANABE MANは、イギリスのアーティスト「ジャミロクワイ(Jamiroquai)」のジェイ・ケイ(Jay Kay)とコラボレーション。世界中の先住民族文化に着想を得た、ジェイ・ケイのファッションに着目し、ジュンヤ ワタナベ マンらしいワークやミリタリーのテイストと“リミックス”した新しいスタイルを打ち出したコレクションとなっています。 アメリカで150年以上続く老舗ファブリックメーカーである「PENDELTON（ペンドルトン）」により作られたネイティブアメリカのパターンを使用。アメリカの歴史・文化の中から生まれた幾何学的で美しいネイティブパターンのジャガード生地はそれだけで力強い印象を生み出します。 そのネイティブパターンのジャガード生地を使用して作られるジャケットは雨風の侵入を防ぐためのダブルブレステッドのフロント仕様にウエストに配されたツインバックル、更には肩のダイヤモンドステッチのデザインによるUKスタイルのライダースジャケット。 アメリカのネイティブスタイルとイギリスのライダースと言う、時代も国も異全くなる2つのテイストが一つのアイテムで融合されたジュンヤマンならではのデザインです。 This season's JUNYA WATANABE MAN collaborated with British artist Jay Kay of Jamiroquai. Focusing on Jay Kay's fashion inspired by indigenous cultures around the world, Junya's Watanabe's manly work and military taste are combined to create a new style "remixed". Uses Native American patterns made by "PENDELTON", a long-established fabric manufacturer that has been in the United States for over 150 years. Jacquard fabric with a beautiful geometric native pattern born from American history and culture creates a strong impression by itself. The jacket is made using jacquard fabric with its native pattern. It is a UK-style rider jacket with double-breasted front specifications to prevent rain and wind from entering, twin buckles on the waist, and a diamond-stitched design on the shoulders. .
