Made from tonal suede and mesh in a low-profile silhouette, this pair has breathable linings and waffled rubber soles, which hadn't long been invented when the original style was thought-up back in the '70s. NIKEナイキ
オレゴン大学の伝説の陸上コーチ、ビル・バウワーマンと、オレゴン大学でビジネスを専攻し、バウワーマンの元で中距離ランナーとして走ったフィル・ナイトの2人より創設。長く続くことになるそのビジネスパートナーシップは、1962年、ブルー・リボン・スポーツ（BRS）社として始まり、初年度の売り上げ合計は8000ドルでした。1972年、BRSはその社名を、ギリシャ神話の勝利の女神にちなんでNIKE、ナイキと変更しました。『誰もがみんなアスリートだ。アスリートが存在する限り、ナイキも存在する。』というビル・バウワーマンの言葉をもとに成長し、それから30年後のいま、ナイキは世界最大のスポーツ＆フィットネス会社となっています。
