本物のアメリカンカジュアルを現代風のサイズ感で表現。素材感もどこにもないオリジナルで展開。ライダースジャケットの代名詞ともいえるSchottの歴史は、1913年、ニューヨークでアーヴィン・ショット、ジャック・ショットの兄弟によって始まった。 当初はレインコートを作る工場だったが、1928年に世界で初めてフロントジッパーを採用したライダースジャケット「Perfecto」シリーズを発売。 ボタン仕様しかなかった当時、画期的なジャケットとして話題となり、その後のライダース史に大きな影響を与えた。 そして、Schottの名を世界に知らしめたのが50年代に発表された星型のスタッズをエポレットに配した伝説のモデル"ワンスター"だ。 この新作こそが、映画『ザ・ワイルド・ワン（邦題「乱暴者」）』で、マーロン・ブランドが纏ったと言われているモデルである。 その後もラモーンズやセックスピストルズをはじめ、多くのロックミュージシャンに支持され、時代を超えた永遠の定番として今なお多くの人々を魅了する。 最近では定番モデルだけでなく、カジュアルラインも充実させるなど、常に時代に合わせて進化を遂げる革新性も忘れない。 ライダースの歴史は永遠にSchottとともにある。
