今シーズンのeYe JUNYA WATANABE MAN × Levi's × BerBerjinとのトリプルネームとなる新作はリーバイスが1944年頃に製造していた「S506XX」（1st 大戦モデル）をインクジェットプリントで再現した一枚。ヴィンテージの「大戦モデル」を3Dプリンターでスキャンし、その画像を生地にインクジェットプリントする事でビンテージデニムならではの風合いをプリント。インディゴならではのムラのある色落ちやアタリ、シミなどの80年間渡るデニムの経年変化がインクジェットプリントで忠実に再現されています。また当時の戦時下に簡素化を余儀なくされたフラップなしの胸ポケットにBIG Eの赤タブやフロントの4つボタン仕様などのディテールもリーバイスによるオリジナルパーツを使用し忠実に再現されているのも特徴です。さらには大きなサイズにのみ見られた背中のハギ（T-BACK）もきちんと再現されているなど細かなディテールの作り込みも必見。ベースとなる生地には今回初めてリネンが使用することで、デニムとは異なるリネンならではの春夏らしい柔らかな生地感と軽やかな着心地も魅力。サイズは通常よりもゆったりとしたサイジングとなっており、今の時代に合わせたコーディネートが楽しめるまさにトリプルコラボレーションだからこそ再現出来たスペシャルな一枚です。 This season's new triple-collaboration piece between eYe JUNYA WATANABE MAN, Levi's, and BerBerjin is an inkjet print reproduction of the "S506XX" (1st wartime model) that Levi's manufactured around 1944. A vintage wartime model was scanned with a 3D printer, and the image was inkjet printed onto the fabric to reproduce the texture unique to vintage denim. The uneven fading, wear, and stains characteristic of indigo denim, which have been aged for 80 years, are faithfully reproduced in the print. Another feature is the faithful reproduction of details such as the flapless chest pockets and the four-button front closure, which were simplified due to wartime conditions, using Levi's parts. Furthermore, the back seam (T-BACK) that was only seen on larger sizes has also been properly reproduced. For the first time, linen has been used as the base fabric, and the soft and light feel characteristic of linen, perfect for spring and summer, is also appealing. The sizing is more relaxed than usual, making it a piece that can be enjoyed in a relaxed style that suits the times.
