Marvielab is a clothing label based and crafted in Perugia, Italy. The label encompasses different ongoing clothing projects. Seven projects have been developed thus far, each of them interpreting certain pieces of wardrobe through its own concept. Individual projects are the result of deconstruction and rearrangement of classic wardrobe items and represent an ongoing study in form and functionality, essential design constructions and natural, trans-seasonal materials. Clothing is developed around the wearer and their everyday mode of dress. Dressing is perceived as an examination of the relationship and interaction between wearer (volume-personality) and the garment (shape-material). The wearer is seen as a three-dimensional form; garment as a flat form. The garment is viewed as a varying element, while the wearer as a changeable form. From the interaction of these two parts, the body finds its way of dressing and the clothing finds its own personality.
